Sam Hatch, the Maple Lady
Sunday, Oct 20, 2019 1:00 PM

Come join us and spend a pleasant afternoon learning more about one of our favorite landscape plants for the Pacific Northwest, Japanese maples. Most of our maples will be in resplendent fall color, heightening our enthusiasm for their charms!

Sam Hatch and her husband Dave own Eastfork Nursery in La Center, WA. Sam has been cultivating an ever-widening assortment of maple cultivars for over 30 years. She has accumulated a vast amount of knowledge on their cultivation, pruning techniques, seasonal highlights, and uses in the landscape.

We are delighted that she will come to share highlights of their care, pruning techniques, and perhaps a few choice plants for demonstration and sale.

Bring your questions and enjoy the company of other Japanese maple lovers. We’ll serve light refreshments and have our library book offerings on maples for your consideration.

Parking is convenient, directly under our building, and also on nearby side streets.

Seating is limited, so please register here.
